Mumbles Baptist Church - Outreach and Mission
Outreach and Mission
The Bible tells us, "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matt 28:19).

We are all called to be willing disciples for our Lord, to take opportunities when they arise to speak of His grace and love for us.

Mumbles Baptist supports a number of groups, families, and individuals who are doing the Lord's work in this country and overseas.

 BMS world mission
BMS world mission supports over 280 personnel in more than 35 countries worldwide, involved in church planting, development, disaster relief, education, health, and media.

For more information, e-mail or call 01235 517700. You can write to BMS at PO Box 49, 129 Broadway, Didcot, OX11 8XA.

We have been supporting a team of Christians working from the 1st Baptist church at Brasov, Romania, since 1992.

We help them with the various work that they carry out for Street Children, Pregnancy counselling, Prison outreach, Youth camps, and general work within their own country. We're pleased to see that they now in turn go into Moldavia to help there.

Many from our church have visited the area.

 Viva Network
Viva is an Oxford-based charity that networks Christians working with children at risk throughout the world, in an effort to support, train, and equip the many Christians called to work with children.

Mumbles Baptist provides support for the Viva team, and members also provide practical help when required.

We have been privileged to support the ministry of Wojtek Kowalewski, a Polish pastor who trained in Cardiff Baptist College but returned to work in a difficult area of Wroclaw in Poland.

Mumbles Baptist has had a long association with Pastor Gill, who is working in Pakistan.
