Meetings at MBC

MBC has a number of groups and clubs that meet up weekly, monthly, or on an occasional basis. See the information below for details. We're gradually restarting these groups as we move out of Covid times - watch this space for latest details.

Prayer Meeting and Bible Study

Bible Study (Tues 10.30am) and Bible Reading (Fri 10.30am)

Bible Study on Tuesday and Bible Reading on Friday are an opportunity to study the bible together, read passages, and to ask questions. Participation is encouraged, and everyone is welcome whatever your level of Christian maturity.

Mumbles Afternoon Fellowship

Mumbles Afternoon Fellowship

Thursdays, 2.30pm - 3.30pm

Mumbles Afternoon Fellowship is a time of fellowship for anyone who comes to church in the Mumbles area. We begin with a prayer and a hymn, followed by a short reading and news about the fellowship. We have a different speaker every week, with a message about Christian work in the UK and overseas. We also organise trips and meals for special occasions.

Mumbles Afternoon Fellowship

Prayer for children, young people, and families in Mumbles

3rd Thursday each month (except August and December), Castleton Church, 1.30pm

Churches in the Mumbles area meet to update each other on our church's activities, and to pray for our work and for issues relevant to children, young people and families. We very much feel a need to intercede for the next generation and would welcome anyone who wishes to join us.

Smile

Smile Craft and Coffee Morning

2nd and 4th Wednesday every month, 10am - 12noon

Smile is a charity that shares the love of Jesus by the distribution of humanitarian aid and long-term development projects. We have a Smile craft/coffee morning in the Church one Wednesday morning a month. If you have any craft items (knitting, etc.) that you'd like to donate, we'd be delighted to accept them.

Men's Fellowship

Men's Fellowship Lunch

First Friday every month, 12.30pm - 2pm

Men's Fellowship Lunch is attended by men from our own church and other churches, and we usually number 20 to 25. A lunch is provided for a small charge, and surplus money is given to Christian work in other lands. A message is given on variety of topics with a Christian theme.
